Notes: The label celebrates the opening of the reconstructed distilling site at Mars Shinshu distillery. The 2020 Komagatake was aged for over 3 years in sherry casks and American White Oak make barrels. Distiller’s tasting reveals prune, honey, and vanilla on the nose and sweet orange on the palate accompanied by developing cocoa powder. The finish is long, gentle, and sweet. A beautiful amber hue, this whisky is sure to delight.
