Notes: Ichiro's Malt Chichibu US Edition 2022, a non-chill filtered, limited edition single malt by Chichibu Distillery in Saitama, Japan, offers only 2033 bottles of this exceptional blend. Composed of a mix of casks that previously held Indian Pale Ale, Imperial Stout, and hopped cider, it features subtle notes of tropical fruit and citrus. Made from 100% multiple Concerto 2-row barley, it's milled and mashed in-house, fermented in a Mizunura washbox for 90 to 100 hours, and distilled in Forsyths copper pot stills. Aged in a combination of Sherry hogshead and IPA, Imperial Stout, hopped cider casks, it's bottled at cask strength (53.5%) without additives or coloring, showcasing the meticulous craftsmanship that makes it unique.
