Notes from winemaker: Grapes for the HRW series wines come from our 117-acre Napa Valley vineyard, as they do for all of our wines. This wine is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. It was aged for 18 months in French Oak barrels, 10% of which were new. The remaining barrels are the 1 and 2- year-old barrels used in our estate Cabernet.

Opaque, medium-ruby color, slight violet hue of a young wine-- slightly lighter in body than our Hendry label Cabernet. Dark berries, smoke and grape skins on the nose. The palate offers tangy blackcurrant, dark berries and cocoa. Medium-bodied. Firm tannins. 100% Cabernet Sauvignon.

Pair with burgers on the grill, steaks, chops. A tasty, versatile, go-to Cabernet Sauvignon for everyday drinking.
